Feast Days of the Orthodox Church

The Ecclesiastical Calendar begins on September 1st. The Feast of Christ's Resurrection, Holy Pascha, is the greatest Feast of the Church and stands in a class by itself. The next in importance are the Twelve Great Feasts of the Church. Then there are countless other feasts celebrated throughout the year. These feasts can be found in the Synaxarion Page on this site. The Synaxarion is an abridged listing Feast Days and of the Saints of the Orthodox Church listed in order according to the ecclesiastical Calendar on the day that their feast is celebrated.

Check the Dates for Lent and Easter up to the year 2010 or see a listing of the Twelve Great Feasts of the Orthodox Church or see a listing of some of other Prominent Feasts of the Church.
